This $11,951,152.00 project consisted a forty (40) acre landfill site which was classified as an Inactive Hazardous Waste Site and was under a consent decree order set forth by the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA). The work for this project involved but was not limited to the placement of approximately 132,000 CY of subgrade material, the installation of approximately 1,700,000 SF of geotextile material, the installation of approximately 1,700,000 SF of geomembrane material, the placement of approximately 65,000 CY of drainage layer material, the placement of approximately 65,000 CY of barrier protection soil, the placement of topsoil, seed and erosion control blankets over the forty acre site, the construction of rip-rap lined drainage swales, the installation of a site drainage system and the extension of existing gas well pipes and reinstallation to the gas header pipe.
