This eight (8) acre landfill closure project in the Village of Mamaroneck, Westchester County, New York consisted of the excavation and regrading of the existing cover material along with the addition of contour grading material prior to installation of a gas venting system with gas venting wells, geotextiles, leachate collection system, storm drainage system, geomembrane, barrier protection layer and topsoil at the top of the landfill. All work was performed in full compliance with the NYS Part 360 permit.
