Rehabilitation of the Saw Mill River Parkway, Yonkers, NY

Rehabilitation of a 2.8 kilometer of the Saw Mill Parkway to the New York City Line north to the Cross County Interchange. The work for this project included the widening of the southbound right shoulder; drainage; sewer work; curb and median barrier installation; guide railing; sign work and asphalt placement. Also included in this project was the parapet; sidewalk and roadway rehabilitation of the McLean Avenue Bridge over the Saw Mill Parkway. ECCO III completed the replacement of 2,700 meters of median rail and curb with single slope median barrier in twenty (20) working days and ahead of the designed construction period of work. ECCO III also elected to perform all mainline asphalt paving during night shifts to enhance production and limit potential safety and traffic concerns.
