
The complete demolition and reconstruction of the Route I-95 Bridge over Midland Avenue. The major work items for this project included: staged demolition of the existing concrete deck, structural steel and concrete substructures. Demolition and reconstruction work was performed while maintaining traffic on Route I-95 at all times. New construction included: driving steel H-piles and sheet piling along Route I-95. The new superstructure included the erection of high strength long span girders.
This difficult project was completed ahead of schedule resulting in an incentive payment for early completion
