This project involved the replacement of 72″ Shaft Cap Cover for Shaft 11 of the Delaware Aqueduct located in Westchester County, New York. 

The project consisted of: establishment of erosion controls; excavation of roof slab; air monitoring; removal of grating, railing, piping and valves as required; removal of existing cap cover; existing 200 feet of riser shaft; installation of new cap cover; installation of new piping and valves; reinstallation of grating, railing and platform; replacement of roof slabs in original position; coverage of roof slab with fill; and installation of a new fence and gate.
