Construction Services for the Croton-Harmon and Peekskill Station Improvements​

This $10.3 project consisted of upgrades to the Croton-Harmon and Peekskill Stations.

Peekskill Station Scope Overview:

  • Platform edge repairs and platform extensions
  • Inbound and Outbound canopy roofing and new overpass roofing
  • New steel staircases with new roofs, handrails and treads
  • Two new elevators
  • New platform guardrail and tactile warning systems
  • New lighting on outbound canopy and overpass
  • Painting of new stairs, existing overpass, existing elevator steel and existing canopy steel
  • Installation of bird protection system
  • New concrete overpass deck
  • New overpass windows & doors
  • Crack and spall repairs to existing platforms & supports
  • Installation of steel artwork

Croton-Harmon Station Scope Overview:

  • Demolition and replacement of Platform ‘C’ slabs and bents
  • New platform canopy installation
  • New lighting and heat trace systems for gutters and leaders at stairs
  • New barrel roof at northern overpass, and new staircase roofing at eight (8) staircases of the northern overpass
  • Painting of new canopy steel, existing canopy steel and existing northern overpass steel
  • Column cover removal and replacement
  • Installation of bird protection system
  • Installation of overpass ventilators
  • Installation of glass artwork at south overpass
