This $4.7 million project for Westchester County Department of Public Works included: the installation of bypass pumping facilities, maintenance of bypass systems, and station operations; demolition as required; replacement of sewage pumps and appurtenances; installation of new sewage level control systems and control panel systems; installation of new piping, valves and appurtenances; replacement of existing grit collection system and addition of two grit collection systems, two grit pumps, one grit classifier, one mechanical bar screens, one washer compactor; replacement of three sluice gates; and installation of new plumbing systems which included piping, valves, etc. Additional work included site work, painting, and other miscellaneous items.
