This Project for Westchester County Department of Public Works included the replacement of the existing sodium hypochlorite feed system, including (3) new FRP tanks and associated chemical feed pumps and CPVC piping, requiring the installation and removal of a temporary feed system to facilitate the construction, and the replacement of the (3) Intermediate and Drain Pumps, including associated valves and controls, requiring the installation, operation and removal of a temporary bypass pumping system during the replacement. The project also involved upgrades to the Plant’s Central Control Panel, ancillary control panels, as well as structural and architectural upgrades in the Main Control Room.
