Founded in 1971, ECCO III has grown steadily to become a leading professional construction organization in the New York Metropolitan area. With a full range of in-house capabilities and services, and strong relationships with a vast network of subcontractors, ECCO III has successfully completed numerous projects in the transportation, environmental, industrial, and commercial arenas, with varying degrees of challenge and complexity. ECCO III was founded by Richard Gizzi Sr. (pictured center) in 1971. Richard was joined by his nephews Raymond Gizzi, PE (pictured left) and John Gizzi, CPA (pictured right) who went onto succeed Richard in overseeing ECCO III’s growth from a local family business to a leading Heavy Civil Construction Contractor in the New York Metropolitan area.
Raymond and John served in progressive leadership roles, until assuming positions as President and Chief Financial Officer (retired 1995), respectively.
Kristen Gizzi, daughter of co-owner John Gizzi, currently serves as ECCO III’s Corporate Counsel and Director of ECCO Development LLC – ECCO III’s Real Estate Development subsidiary. Kristen co-manages ECCO Development LLC, along with her cousin, Richard Gizzi, Jr., son of Richard Gizzi, Sr.
ECCO III’s Leadership Team is comprised of long-standing construction-industry experts who have been employed with ECCO III for multiple decades. The Leadership Team is actively involved in the planning and execution of all work activities from the ground up.
